Hello Blogland!
I'm back, yet again. I had a lot going on this past month and just couldn't get up the gumption to post. Then, while I busy doing other things, I got to thinking. I was fairly unsatisfied with my previous blog, as I was with all other incarnations of it. I just couldn't figure out what it was. Then I figured it out. At least, I think I did!
I've always thought I should have a niche. I mean, there's a niche for everyone, right? Bakers, sewers, knitters, stay at home moms, working moms, crafters, vintage lovers, people who don't like specific things, ect. I just wasn't sure what mine was. I love to read, but what I love to read isn't necessarily what someone else wants to read. I love to bake, but it's not my passion. Same with sewing, knitting, and crafting. I'm a stay at home who does a lot of volunteering. And I love vintage.
I know there are a lot of vintage blogs out there and a ton of other people who love vintage too. They live vintage. They have gorgeous homes that are decorated in vintage furnishings. They wear beautiful clothes that a)they can fit in and b)they can afford. And I know there are others, like me.
I adore vintage. I do own some vintage pieces (which currently do not fit) and a lot of vintage kitchen items. Other than that, there is really not a lot of vintage in my home. My family just does not share the same love of vintage that I do. So, I live modernly with a vintage twist. And that's what this blog is going to be about. Exciting, isn't it? (yes, that was sarcasm).
But really, I am a bit excited to have discovered my niche.
